How do I Get Money to Pay for College?
You've heard it before, "There's lots of money out there to pay for college." But where do you get all this money? Here are the most common options:
Savings
No matter how much or how little time and money you have, start saving for college. There are many ways to save, here are a few options.

Grants
There are many types of grants. This is money from the state or federal government that doesn't have to be paid back. Apply by filling out the FAFSA.
Scholarships
A lot of scholarships come from the school you're applying to. Check with the financial aid office to see what's available. There are also lots and lots of private scholarships. Here are just a few places to find some that are right for you.
Work Study
Work study allows eligible students to earn money through a part time job. Often these jobs are on campus and flexible with your school schedule. Apply by filling out the FAFSA
Student Loans
This money is some of the easiest to get but, unlike other sources of financial aid, must be repaid. Apply by filling out the FAFSA.
Military
Military Tuition Assistance is a benefit paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
