Concurrent Enrollment

Concurrent enrollment classes are both Utah State University credit and Sky View High School credit.  It is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a jump start on college while saving time and money.  A $5 Sky View fee will be charged for each concurrent class and $10 if is also a Career Technology course.  In addition, USU will charge a $5 per credit fee (most classes are 3 credits) as well as a $40 admissions fee.  All students taking concurrent classes must apply for admission and pay this fee.  this admission is valid for two years.  USU credits are transferable to most other colleges and universities.  Students will be expected to purchase text books for most concurrent classes.  Enrollment in concurrent courses require a 3.0 GPA.  Please check course descriptions for any prerequisties.  Pass/Fail is not an option for concurrent classes.  Students electing to drop concurrent classes after Sky View's established drop date (i.e., 5th day of class) will receive an "F" on both of thier college and high school transcripts. Sophomores are allowed to only enroll in Math 1050 & 1060, and Spanish 1010 & 1020.
